Method 1- Restrict someone’s profile

But to make it simple, when you restrict someone’s profile on Instagram, the person will still be following you, and able to message you and comment on your posts but his/her comment will only be seen by you and them.

However, note that their messages will be flashing in your request folder and not your inbox. To restrict someone on Instagram, follow the given steps-

First, open your Instagram app and go to that user’s profile.

Confirm it, and the account will get restricted until you un-restrict them.
